Ms. Diamond Walker

General Studies

Diamond Walker is the general studies teacher for second grade and third grade girls.. She has lived in Las Vegas for a few years now, but is originally from upstate NY. She has a B.A in Psychology from Russell Sage College, in Troy, NY, and a MSEd in Early Childhood education from St. Rose College, in Albany, NY.

Ms. Walker taught Pre-K (UPK) in Albany, NY for two years and in Watervliet, NY for one year before joining Yeshiva Day School of Las Vegas. Before becoming a lead UPK teacher, Ms. Walker was an assistant teacher for a year. She has experience in both urban and suburban areas. During college, she worked as a summer camp counselor and an after school counselor, working with children of all ages through the Jewish Community Center. She comes to Yeshiva Day School of Las Vegas with knowledge of working with children of all backgrounds.
