Rabbi Yosef Alcabes

Rabbi Yossef Alcabes was born and raised in Queens, New York. He studied at the Rabbinical Seminary of America where he received his Rabbinical Ordination. While Studying at RSA, he assisted in leading Congregation Mekor Habracha. Before coming to YDLV, Rabbi Alcabes taught Chumash to 7th grade as well as Gemara to 9th grade. He is a graduate of both the Merkaz Teachers Institute as well as the Gott Learning Teachers Program. Rabbi Alcabes lives in Summerlin with his wife and four children. Rabbi Alcabes is teaching 6th Grade Judaic Studies and is the 4th Grade Judaic Studies Support teacher.
