Mrs. Esther Rosenhan
Elementary Torah Studies
Mrs. Esther Rosenhan was motivated to become a teacher by her love of children, fun and personal growth. She received her advanced teacher certification in Israel in 2011, specializing in Music in Education, and continued her education with additional courses in psychology, child development, special education , and family therapy through the Bar Ilan University. She has since taught Judaic studies, art, and music to children aged 3-16, and also managed a “big sister” after-school program. Later, she completed two years of training in Jewish leadership and education in Ner LeElef institute in Jerusalem. Mrs. Rosenhan aims to provide calm guidance with caring and personal attention, creating a respectful, nurturing classroom environment where curiosity is encouraged and learning is hands-on. Mrs. Rosenhan is the first grade Torah studies teacher.
Our mission is to create and maintain a superior educational environment that inspires in each student a love of G-d, a reverence for the Torah and its mitzvos and a lifelong commitment to the acquisition of knowledge.
Yeshiva Day School of Las Vegas promotes individual achievement, a desire, curiosity and thirst for all areas of knowledge, a positive self-image, a respect for individual differences and the development of Jewish moral and ethical behavior.
