Early Childhood Curriculum Director

Mrs. Hadassah Cohen is the Early Childhood Curriculum Director at Yeshiva Day School of Las Vegas. She has worked in Early Childhood for many years. She obtained her Masters Degree in Dance Education from NYU and was first introduced to the Reggio Emilia/Constructivist method while there. She has worked in the public school system in both New York and Los Angeles as a guest artist and served on committees to shape the assessment standards for Arts-based learning.

Hadassah is certified in The Language of Dance (the method of reading and writing dance notation with an emphasis on pedagogy) Stages I and II and is currently writing her dissertation for Stage III. She is also certified through the Mindsight Institute in the Neurobiology of We, a two year course focusing on Neurobiology and Early Childhood Education. She has worked in many Reggio Emilia inspired schools as a classroom teacher and served on both the Atelierista and Pedagogista staff.

Professional development is her passion; she enjoys opening up teachers eyes to the
vast possibilities. Mrs. Cohen is teaching ECEC-H Preschool.
