Ms. Sarah Gordon
Math Tutor
Sarah Gordon has been teaching for over 30 years. She has been teaching math in Las Vegas since 2004. She founded Mathease Tutoring in 2010 as an alternative to the franchises and at-home tutors. The difference is that they actually teach math, not just show students how to do it. This goes with her teaching philosophy the importance that students actually learn math so that they understand it and can duplicate it. Sarah previously taught in the Clark County school district and spent 2 years (2018-2020) helping YDLV with an effective math program. Sarah grew up in West Los Angeles and went to Universities in Santa Barbara and Paris, France. She graduated from UCLA in 1972. She lives in the Henderson ATC community being one of its founding members. She has a Jewish Library gemach in her home as well as a Purim costume gemach with over 600 costumes. Aside from her math skills, she is famous for her Bobka, authentic NY bagels, and Paseadic Bobka.
