Mrs. Monica Sanchez
Mrs. Monica Sanchez moved to Las Vegas from California with family in 2017. She attended Mission College in California for Early Child Development and has attended seminars, conferences, and classes and toured other schools to gain more knowledge in Child Development. Mrs. Sanchez has been teaching for six years, working with children from 18 months to 6 years old. She believes children are capable and competent learners and that they can learn so much on their own with intentional teaching. While working at OFJCC in Palo Alto, CA for 3 years, Mrs. Sanchez worked within the Reggio Emilia approach to teaching. Mrs. Sanchez is our Kindergarten General Studies Teacher.
Our mission is to create and maintain a superior educational environment that inspires in each student a love of G-d, a reverence for the Torah and its mitzvos and a lifelong commitment to the acquisition of knowledge.
Yeshiva Day School of Las Vegas promotes individual achievement, a desire, curiosity and thirst for all areas of knowledge, a positive self-image, a respect for individual differences and the development of Jewish moral and ethical behavior.
