Mrs. Nerissa Lopez

Kindergarten, 1st Grade General Studies

Mrs. Nerissa Lopez spent her youth growing up here in sunny Las Vegas. She graduated from the Valley High School Travel and Tourism Magnet Program. Mrs. Lopez graduated from UNLV on the dean’s honor list in 2013, with a BS in Elementary Education and again in 2017, with a MEd in curriculum and Instruction. She obtained a TESOL endorsement added onto her current NV state licensure. This will be her seventh year teaching in her dream career. Mrs. Lopez understands the trenches of balance in parenthood and career. She has three daughters, a husband of eighteen years, a dog, cat, and a pot belly pig. Mrs. Lopez has overcome great obstacles in her life. Faith, education and hope have driven her successes. She upholds that the best is yet to come and that all students can learn and thrive. In her free time, she enjoys nature, gardening, sports, laughter, and family vacations.

Our mission is to create and maintain a superior educational environment that inspires in each student a love of G-d, a reverence for the Torah and its mitzvos and a lifelong commitment to the acquisition of knowledge.
