Ms. Valarie Thomas

Assistant Principal

Ms. Valarie Thomas was born in Chicago, Illinois.  She attended several schools before getting her Bachelors Degree from Illinois State University and her Masters Degree from Olivet Nazarene University.  In addition, she has served in the United States Marine Corp as a Broadcast Journalist with tours in Japan, Pennsylvania and Indiana.  Ms. Thomas has also served her community as a police officer in the suburbs of Chicago before beginning her educational career.  She comes with experience as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and principal of a K-12 building.  She is looking forward to assisting in the growth at Yeshiva Day School.
