Mrs. Patricia Hein

Elementary School

Mrs. Patricia Hein joins Yeshiva Day School at the beginning of her retirement from twenty years of teaching in the Clark County School District as a second grade teacher. Mrs. Hein holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She brings forth a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for learning and reading. She has an extensive background in teaching phonics and reading fundamentals.

Prior to living in Las Vegas, Mrs. Hein taught in schools in Alaska with her husband. Together they set up a cooperative learning environment for different grades for students in the villages. She worked in both general and special education in Alaska. With nearly 50 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Hein joins our teaching staff at Yeshiva as a resource support teacher in the Elementary grades.

Our mission is to create and maintain a superior educational environment that inspires in each student a love of G-d, a reverence for the Torah and its mitzvos and a lifelong commitment to the acquisition of knowledge.
