Rabbi Zev Goldman
Elementary School Torah Studies
Rabbi Zev Goldman, a co founder and Dean of YDLV, has been involved in elementary and middle school education for over a decade. He has had the opportunity to develop his talents and interest in education under the dynamic mentorship of pedagogue par excellence Rabbi A. H. Leibowitz, of blessed memory, and has based the YDLV school culture upon those teachings and precepts.
Rabbi Goldman earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Finance in 2000, and his Masters in Education from Touro University in 2006. Rabbi Goldman received his Rabbinic Ordination from the Rabbinical Seminary of America in 2007. He is also a graduate of the Mercaz Teacher Training Program, the Principal Training Institute, and is an active member in the Consortium of Jewish Day Schools.
Rabbi Goldman and his family enjoy living in Las Vegas, inspiring young minds, and guiding students to realize their potential.
Our mission is to create and maintain a superior educational environment that inspires in each student a love of G-d, a reverence for the Torah and its mitzvos and a lifelong commitment to the acquisition of knowledge.
Yeshiva Day School of Las Vegas promotes individual achievement, a desire, curiosity and thirst for all areas of knowledge, a positive self-image, a respect for individual differences and the development of Jewish moral and ethical behavior.
