Mrs. Risa Moskowitz is known for her warmth and deep commitment to her students. For the past 18 years, her classes imbue her students with a deep desire to grow in Torah. Born and raised in Queens NY, Mrs. Moskowitz attended Queens College as an Undergraduate in Liberal Arts. She also received a teaching certificate from the Israeli Ministry of Education and Beth Jacob of Jerusalem.

Mrs. Moskowitz began her teaching career in Queens, NY, teaching 4th and 5th grade in Bais Yaakov Academy of Queens and Pre-1A in Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe. She then relocated to San Diego to teach Kindergarten. In the past seven years, Mrs. Moskowitz joined Torah High School where she taught 9th – 12th grade Chumash, Navi and Halacha. She coordinated Judaic programs and was the student council coordinator. Mrs. Risa Moskowitz feels privileged and excited to be joining the YDLV staff teaching secular as well as Judaic studies. Mrs. Moskowitz also serves as the program coordinator for the Middle school girls.
