Torah Studies

Mrs. Russie Kasirer has a passion for helping every student succeed and love learning. With over a decade of experience in Special Education and Torah Studies, she has helped many students with Kriah and Chumash through a multi-sensory approach. She earned her Bachelors of Science from Excelsior College and her Masters of Special Education from the University of North Dakota. Mrs. Kasirer is also a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. Mrs. Kasirer began her teaching career in a suburb of Chicago, IL and then relocated to Queens, NY, where she taught at Yeshiva Har Torah and was the recipient of the Reiss Innovative Educator Award. She has also been involved in training and mentoring teachers in her multisensory kriah approach. Mrs. Kasirer is teaching Middle School Girls Torah Studies as well as directing the schoolwide Kriah program.

Our mission is to create and maintain a superior educational environment that inspires in each student a love of G-d, a reverence for the Torah and its mitzvos and a lifelong commitment to the acquisition of knowledge.
