PK – Eighth Grade: Monday – Thursday 8:10am to 3:50pm
Friday Dismissal 1:30pm

Students may bring a Kosher Dairy or Pareve lunch from home. Additionally, YDLV offers a Hot Lunch Program in partnership with Casa Mia and Mother Falafel, providing another convenient and kosher lunch option for students.

Before and Aftercare Services are available for our preschool classes. Please contact the school office to make arrangements.

Parents are encouraged to get involved in a variety of ways, including taking part in the active and vibrant PTA, serving on various committees, volunteering to help with class projects, fundraising activities, and escorting field trips.

Our diverse parent body represents all levels of Jewish observance. About 50% are Orthodox, 50% are made up of Conservative, Reform and Secular/ Traditional. As an independent school not affiliated with any synagogue, Yeshiva Day School has had a successful history of attracting and educating a wide spectrum of Jewish families who want their children to receive a quality secular and traditional Jewish education based on Torah study. Part of our success is the welcoming environment of our families and faculty.

We are proud of our very diverse, warm parent body. Since our location is easily accessible from all parts of the city, our families live all over the Las Vegas Valley with groups of families living in Summerlin, Henderson and Central Las Vegas. Our international parent body comes from all over the world from Israel, Europe, South America and of course America. Our families belong to synagogues of every affiliation and represent every level of Jewish observance. The overall feeling of the school is a warm, committed Jewish community of families who strive to give their children a Jewish life at school, home and in their community. Our families weekly share Shabbat meals, celebrate Jewish holidays together and become close friends outside of school.

Reflecting our diverse families, our students attend many different high schools. Most Yeshiva Day School graduates continue their dual curricular Jewish/ general education at another accredited independent school or choose their local public school. Many of our alumni distinguish themselves by being placed into honors and advanced placement classes wherever they choose to attend.

Yeshiva Day School offers generous financial aid grants to qualifying families. Yeshiva Day School believes that the community is stronger when it is comprised of students from varying socio – economic backgrounds that benefit from and contribute to the campus experience. Yeshiva Day School remains committed to ensure that a Jewish education remains affordable to Jewish families regardless of their economic circumstances.
